Man Admits to Rape and Home Invasion

Christopher Karls, a 24 year old male of Wayzata, MN allegedly admitted in court that he a 20-year-old woman who then leaping from her second-story apartment window wearing only a towel near the University of Minnesota after trying to fend off her attacker with a curling iron. Karls was reportedly previously convicted in 2002 for burglarizing an occupied dwelling in Stearns County. More information here.

Suspects wanted for 3 home invasion in a single day

The criminals reportedly struck the homes of three elderly residents on Saturday, saying that they were conducting checks on property lines as robbed the homes. Authorities say when the residents tried to call police, the suspects ripped the phone off the wall to stop them.  More information here.

Fatal home invasion in Chicago

Christopher Jackson, 32, allegedly forcibly entered an ex-girlfriend’s home in Chicago’s Douglas Park neighborhood armed with a gun, police said. He allegedly fatally shot Gonzalez’s current boyfriend, Robert White, and stabbed Gonzalez several times, police said. An order of protection had previously been in effect. More information here.

Armed CA Home Invasion

The criminals, who were reportedly wearing all black clothing, including black ski masks and gloves, went to a home on the 1000 block of I Street in Eureka, CA around 9 p.m. and stuck a shotgun in the male victim’s face, police said. The man, who had been playing his guitar while his girlfriend was sleeping in the same room, was expecting a visit from his brother but instead suffered a home invasion. More information here.

Arrests made in Deadly GA Home Invasion

Five suspects in a deadly Grovetown, GA home invasion have reportedly been arrested. 38-year old Ricky Gibson was killed in the home invasion. Late Wednesday, authorities reportedly announced five people were arrested in his murder. One of the suspects is an unidentified juvenile. The others were reportedly Willie Bernard Butler, Martin Napoleon Holmes, and Patrick Antaun Booker. More information here.

Man Convicted Of Raping Elderly AL Woman

James Broadhead was found guilty of raping a 75-year-old woman. At trial, the victim testified that Broadhead, 26, put a knife to her throat, made her lie down, then he raped her, robbed her and stole her car. More information here.

Man Charged in Multiple VA Rapes

Derrick Gosnell, 25, of Spotsylvania, VA is reportedly charged with two counts of attempted rape, one count of sodomy and one count of abduction in Spotsylvania, said 1st Sgt. Liz Scott of the Sheriff’s Office. More information here.

79-Year-Old Florida Woman Tied To Bed During Home Invasion

Police said a 79 year old Fort Pierce, FL woman was tied to her bed during a home invasion on Sunday. Lorene Chevis reportedly said she woke up to find a man tying her hands to her bed and “rolling her up in the bed sheets and cushioning from the bed.” More information here.

Babysitter Accused in Armed Home Invasion

A baby sitter accused of taking part in an armed home invasion appeared in bond court on Monday morning. Janette Martinez, 22, and her boyfriend, Fernando Luis Gaston, are reportedy accused of invading an FL home and pistol-whipping the resident on Saturday night, whose 7 year old child she reportedly babysat. Suspect wanted in PA home invasion

Allentown, PA police are looking for a man who broke into an occupied home with a handgun. Police believe the man took money, jewelry and a cell phone from an apartment at 238 N. Ninth Street around 1:40 p.m., said Assistant Chief Joseph Hanna of the Allentown, PA city police. More information here.

Man Arrested For Chicago Area Home Invasion and Kidnapping

Chicago Police detectives arrested and charged a man in connection with a home invasion and aggravated kidnapping. Tuyen T. Ngo, 31, of Yorkville, Illinois was reportedly charged with one count of home invasion, aggravated kidnapping and five counts of burglary. On April 28, 2008, Ngo allegedly entered the home of the 28-year-old female victim where the crimes were committed. More information here.

Home Owners Injured in Violent TX Home Invasion

An intruder died and his victims were harmed during a violent home invasion in northwest Tarrant County, TX late Saturday night. Police said the criminal demanded money after breaking into the house in the 9200 block of West Fork Trail near Eagle Mountain Lake around 10:30 p.m. When the residents said they didn’t have much to give him, a struggle ensued, during which the home owners were injured and the criminal was killed in self defense. A Winona, MN man was reportedly charged with burglary and criminal sexual conduct Friday after he allegedly broke into a random home and molested a sleeping woman earlier this week. SC Home Invasion

Police are reportedly ooking for a suspect in a home invasion Wednesday in the Snowden, SC community. About 11:30 p.m., a resident opened his door after a knock and several people forced their way inside, said Sgt. Steve Meadows, police public information officer. The criminals reportedly tied up the man, fired a weapon into the ceiling, hit him several times in the head, and then demanded money. More information here.

Elderly Woman Dies of Heart Attack After Home Invasion

The death of a 90-year-old Lancaster County woman who had a heart attack two days after being robbed at gunpoint in her home has reportedly been ruled a homicide, according to police and the county coroner. Anna M. Sensenig’s heart attack was “directly” caused by the home invasion, officials reportedly stated on Thursday. However, no charges will be filed against the accused robber, Travis Meints of Terre Hill. More information here.

One person injured in MN home invasion

Three criminals forced their way into an apartment on Stratford Lane in Wallkill, MN at about 11 p.m. One was armed with a black handgun. The men took an undetermined amount of money from the two victims, injuring one, police reportedly said. More information here.

3 More Suspects Linked to Home Invasion Ring

They allegedly targeted homes that had open windows or unlocked doors, struck in predawn hours and used masks and guns. They confronted victims in their bedrooms and tied them up before ransacking the homes. The burglars made off with cash and items such as jewelry and televisions. More information here.

Man Charged In 1997 Rape and Murder

Aarion Johnson, 28, is reportedly charged with murder in the death of Susanne Stoffels, who was found dead in her home on Ross Street in November 2007. Police say Johnson had broken into the home and raped Stoffels before killing her. Johnson is currently serving a 70-year sentence on previous rape and burglary charges. More information here.
